Self medicationshall be conducted in accordance with the disease experienced, its implementation must meet the criteria for rational drug use. This study aims to find out how to collect information through patient assessment, recommendations provided, as wellas information submitted by the pharmacist. This research is a observational studywith simulated patient method. Samples were selected using a purposive sampling method that is taken by one pharmacist from each pharmacy to be sampled.The data obtained will be processed with Microsoft excel. As many as 93% of pharmacy workers do a patient assessment, the age of the patient is the most frequently asked question86,7% (n=26). Based on 93% (n = 28) drug recommendations given, 32.1% of them recommendedantimotility, and 32,1% adsorben. Drug information that often delivered is dose 96,4% (n=27). While non drug information that often delivered is fluid intake with 14,3% (n=4). Based on the resultof the study, it was foundthat many patient assessments hadnot been excavated as well as information that was not conveyed in full so that the pharmacy service of pharmacy officers in Gedangan District towards diarrhea patients still needed to be improved.
