<note>Granules are clumps of smaller particles generally shaped unevenly and like larger
single particles. Butterfly pea flowers (Clitoria ternatea L) contain antioxidant
compounds consisting of flavonoid compounds which are useful in preventing the
aging process. This research uses 3 different types of diluents. Making telang flower
extract granule preparations using wet granulation and maceration extraction
methods. Objective: This research aims to determine how much influence the type
of diluent has on the physical quality of butterfly pea flower extract granules. The
research method used is an experimental method using the Statistical Product and
Service Solution (SPSS) program using the One Way ANOVA method. The results
obtained from this research are that the type of diluent (lactose) in formulation I
has better physical granule quality than other formulations. The conclusion of this
research is that there is an influence on the type of diluent and there are differences
in the type of diluent in the physical quality test of butterfly pea flower extract
granules.
