Hypertension can be stated if blood pressure increases above normal blood pressure with a systolic blood pressure value of 140 mmHg per distolic pressure of 90 mmHg. Knowledge is the acquisition of a person's understanding after sensing which includes sight, hearing, touch, sense of smell, sense of taste in a particular object. This study aims to determine the description of knowledge in hypertensive patients at Pharmacy "X" Sidoarjo City. This research design used a descriptive research design and a sampling technique using a purposive sampling method, which was carried out on 70 respondents who were undergoing treatment for hypertension and hypertensive patients who measured blood pressure. Based on the results of this research using a questionnaire measuring tool, it was stated that they had sufficient knowledge with a percentage of 67,85%. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between knowledge regarding hypertension suffered by influencing factors including education, age, employment status, length of suffering, and gender. It can be concluded from the research results that the respondents still have limited knowledge and curiosity. Keyword : Hypertension, Knowledge, Descriptive.
