Pineapple (Ananas comosus (L.)Merr) is a plant in Indonesia that has the potential to be developed because it has many benefits. Pineapple contains a lot of vitamins B12, vitamin C, vitamin E and the enzyme bromelin. Meanwhile, pineapple peel is considered waste which has no benefit, whereas pineapple skin contains the enzymes bromelin, carotenoids, vitamin C and flavonoids which are good for health. The content of flavonoids in pineapple skin be used as antioxidants, anti allergies, anti inflamatory, and anti bacterial. Pineapple peel antioxidants be used as skin protectors because they can prevent free radicals from occuring and can be applied in solid soap dosage forms. This study aims to produce pineapple peel extract solid soap and to test the physical quality according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 3532 2016. This research method is experimental which consists of the manufacture of simplicia and extraction using the maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent. The formulation uses pineapple peel extract with a concentration of 0% (base), 2% (F1), 4% (F2). Evaluation of the physical quality of solid soap includes organoleptic tests, pH tests, homogeneity tests and foam stability tests. The results of this research show that the three formulations produce solid soap that is homogeneous, dense and smooth in texture, fragrant, with a thick white base, F1 is thick white, F2 is yellowish white. The pH values at base, F1, F2 are 9.54, 9.39, 9.36. The organoleptic results for the base preparations, F1, F2 did not change. The homogeneity value for solid soap bases F1, F2 does not change. The height value of dense soap foam on the base, F1, F2 is 6.5-7 cm. The conclusion of this research is that the physical quality of the pineapple peel extract solid soap preparation meets SNI requirements.
