ABSTRAK Temu putih (Curcuma zedoaria (Berg) Roscoe) mengandung beberapa senyawa aktif antara lain kurkumin dan terpenoid yang diketahui berkhasiat sebagai antikanker. Penggunaan temu putih sebagai antikanker atau antineoplastik oleh masyarakat hanya sebatas merebus dengan air atau rajangan yang diseduh. Maka diperlukan inovasi dengan mengembangakan lebih praktis dan lebih stabil. Dengan melalui pengembangan dari bentuk serbuk dikembangkan menjadi sediaan padat yang takaran penggunaannya lebih tepat dan efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui waktu hancur tablet ekstrak temu putih dengan variasi konsentrasi bahan penghancur crospovidoneserta untuk mengetahui kadar bahan penghancur dari evaluasi sifat fisik tablet. Tablet dibuat dengan metode cetak langsung dengan konsentrasicrospovidone1%, 2%, dan 4%. Tablet yang dihasilkan pada uji keseragaman bobot, uji keseragaman ukuran, uji kerapuhan, uji kekerasan, dan uji waktu hancur dinyatakan memenuhi persyaratan uji. Pada uji waktu hancur, hasil uji waktu hancur pada formulasi 1 konsentrasi 1% 14,32 ± 0,244 menit, formulasi 2 konsentrasi 2% 11,69 ± 0,435 menit, formulasi 3 konsentrasi 4% 10,36 ± 0,233 menit. Variasi konsentrasi 4% menunjukkan bahwa crospovidone mempercepat waktu hancur tablet yang optimal. ABSTRACT Temu Putih (Curcuma zedoaria (Berg) Roscoe) contains several active compounds, including curcumin and terpenoids which are known to have anticancer properties. The use of white turmeric as an anticancer or antineoplastic by the community is only limited to boiling with water or brewed chopped. So innovation is needed by developing more practical and more stable. Through the development of the powder form, it is developed into a solid dosage form whose use is more precise and effective.The purpose of this study was to determine the disintegration time of white turmeric extract tablets with variations in the concentration of crospovidone disintegrant and to determine the levels of disintegrants from the evaluation of the physical properties of the tablets. The tablets were made by direct compression method with crospovidone concentrations of 1%, 2%, and 4%. The tablets produced in the weight uniformity test, size uniformity test, friability test, hardness test, and disintegration time test were declared to meet the test requirements.In the disintegration time test, the results of the disintegration time test for formulation 1 concentration of 1% 14.32 ± 0.244 minutes, formulation 2 concentration of 2% 11.69 ± 0.435 minutes, formulation 3 concentration of 4% 10.36 ± 0.233 minutes. Variation in concentration of 4% indicates that crospovidone accelerates the optimal tablet disintegration time.
