ABSTRAK Kulit manusia perlu perlindungan walaupun telah memiliki sistem perlindungan secara alami dari bahaya sinar ultraviolet, yaitu menggunakan sediaan tabir surya. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa yang terdapat dalam ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis (Citrus Aurantifolia). Mengetahui nilai SPF ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis (Citrus Aurantifolia). Mengetahui nilai SPF ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis (Citrus Aurantifolia) yang sudah diformulasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil dan kesimpulan Ekstrak kulit buah jeruk nipis memiliki potensi sebagai tabir surya dengan nilai SPF 22,649 Hasil SPF sediaan lotion ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis adalah F1 7,63, F2 15,13, F3 19,90 yang ketiganya tergolong dalam kategori F1 dan F2 proteksi maksimal F3 proteksi ultra serta Hasil skrining fitokimia ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak kulit jeruk nipis mengandung senyawa flavonoid, tannin, fenol. ABSTRACT Human skin needs protection even though it already has a natural protection system from the dangers of ultraviolet rays, namely using sunscreen preparations.The purpose of this study was to determine the content of compounds contained in lime peel extract (Citrus Aurantifolia), To determine the spf value of lime peel extract (Citrus Aurantifolia), knowing the SPF value of lime peel extract (Citrus Aurantifolia) that has been formulated. Based on the research conducted, the results and conclusions obtained were that lime peel extract had potential as a sunscreen with an SPF value of 22,649. The SPF results for the preparation of lime peel extract lotion were F1 7.63, F2 15.13, F3 19.90, all of which belonged to the category F1 and F2 maximum protection, F3 ultra protection and the results of phytochemical screening of lime peel extract showed that lime peel extract contained flavonoid, tannin, and phenol compounds.
