ABSTRAK COVID-19 telah menjadi masalah kesehatan dunia.WHO resmi menyatakannya sebagai suatu pandemi pada 11 Maret 2020. Berdasarkan data Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia per 24 April 2020, jumlah kasus COVID-19 di seluruh dunia adalah 2.631.839 dan jumlah kematian 182.100. Besarnya angka kejadian COVID-19 disertai oleh luasnya informasi mengenai penyakit ini, tetapi masih banyak terdapat disinformasi dan mis informasi di masyarakat yang berujung dengan kepanikan berlebihan dan penolakan dalam mengikuti rekomendasi pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Bogempinggir terhadap pencegahan COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang bersifat propektif dengan desain purposive sampling. Sampel berjumlah 292 dari total populasi. Hasil penelitian tentang “gambaran pengetahuan masyarakat RW.02 Desa Bogempinggir Kecamatan Balongbendo terhadap pecegahan COVID-19 periode bulan februari-maret 2021” dari 292 responden yang diteliti, diperoleh responden memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dengan presentase 82%. Based on World Health Organization data as of April 24, 2020, the number of COVID-19 cases worldwide is 2,631,839 and the number of deaths is 182,100. The large number of COVID-19 events is accompanied by widespread information about the disease, but there is still a lot of disinformation and misinformation in the community that leads to excessive panic and refusal to follow the government's recommendations. This study aims to find out the picture of knowledge of bogempinggir villagers towards the prevention of COVID-19. This study uses descriptive method that is propekative with purposive sampling design. The sample amounted to 292 of the total population. The results of the study on "the picture of knowledge of RW.02 Bogempinggir Villagers Balongbendo Subdistrict to the COVID-19 outbreak period in February-March 2021" from 292 respondents studied, obtained respondents have good knowledge with a percentage of 82%.
