ABSTRAK Salah satu penyebab tingginya angka kematian anak di Indonesia adalah diare. Bersamaan makin tingginya indensi diare dalam masyarakat, maka banyak dilakukan upaya – upaya pengobatan diare, pengobatan diare seharusnya diawali dengan pemberian oralit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambarab peresepan obat pada pasien balita dengan diagnosa diare di Instalasi Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit “X” Kabupaten Mojokerto periode Juli – Desember 2020 sejumlah 39 pasien. Teknik sampling penelitian ini adalah total sampling hingga di dapatkan 39 responden. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli – Desember 2020. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan rekam medik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa obat diare yang sering diresepkan adalah probiotik sebanyak 37 anak (36,7%), cairan rehidrasi yang sering diresepkan adalah Kaen-3b sebanyak 38 anak (37,7%), sedangkan obat penunjang yang sering diresepkan adalah metamizole sebanyak 34 anak (31,4%). Masyarakat diharapkan untuk memberikan per oral (oralit) sebagai penanganan pertama diare yang benar, membawa anak segera ke petugas kesehatan atau fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan jika diare disertai darah, dan lendir. ABSTRACT One of the causes of the high child mortality rate in Indonesia is diarrhea. Along with the increasing incidence of diarrhea in the community, a lot of efforts have been made to treat diarrhea, diarrhea treatment should begin with the administration of ORS. This study aims to determine the description of drug prescribing in under-five patients with a diagnosis of diarrhea at the Inpatient Installation of the "X" Hospital, Mojokerto Regency for the period July - December 2020, a total of 39 patients. The sampling technique of this research is total sampling to get 39 respondents. The study was conducted in July – December 2020. The research instrument used medical records. The results showed that the diarrhea medicine that was often prescribed was probiotics for 37 children (36.7%), the rehydration fluid that was often prescribed was Kaen-3b as many as 38 children (37.7%), while the supporting drug that was often prescribed was metamizole as many as 34 children (31.4%). The community is expected to give orally (oralit) as the first correct treatment for diarrhea, take the child immediately to a health worker or health care facility if the diarrhea is accompanied by blood and mucus.
