<note>ABSTRAK
Daun bidara (Ziziphus mauritiana) jenis tumbuhan yang mengandung flavonoid dan saponin. Daun bidara dapat menghasilkan busa jika diremas, menghasilkan aroma yang wangi seperti sabun dan dapat digunakan untuk memandikan orang sakit demam dan jenazah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat formulasi dan mengetahui formulasi ekstrak daun bidara dalam konsentrasi 1% dan 3% dapat dijadikan sebagai sabun padat memenuhi syarat uji mutu fisik yang meliputi uji organoleptis, uji homogenitas, uji pH dan uji tinggi busa terhadap sediaan sabun padat ekstrak daun bidara. Desain penelitian ini adalah eksperimental. Pembuatan ekstrak daun bidara menggunakan metode maserasi dan formulasi pembuatan sabun dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Cold process agar senyawa yang terkandung didalam sabun tidak rusak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil baik pada konsentrasi 1% maupun 3% memenuhi syarat mutu fisik terutama dalam uji organoleptis, uji pH dan uji tinggi busa. Uji organoleptis pada konsentrasi 1% menunjukkan sabun memiliki warna putih, bentuk dan aroma yang sama. Hasil uji organoleptis pada konsentrasi 3% menunjukkan sabun memiliki warna coklat susu, bentuk dan aroma yang sama. Hasil uji pH memenuhi range pH sabun padat untuk kulit, yaitu 9-11. Hasil uji tinggi busa menunjukkan sabun menghasilkan busa sesuai dengan kriteria, yaitu 9,5cm.

ABSTRACT
Bidara leaf (Ziziphus mauritiana) is a kind of plants which containing flavonoid and saponin. The bidara leaf can produce foam if we knead it, produce an aroma like soap and can be used to bathe people with fever also corpses. This study is aimed to create and understand the extract formulation in bidara leaf in two concentration namely 1% and 3% that could be made into a bar soap suitable with physical quality requirement test including organoleptic test, homogeneity test, pH test and high foam test that contain in a solid soap from extract bidara leaf. The researcher used an experimental design. The production of bidara used a maceration method and the soap formulation utilized a cold process to avoid the detriment of compoundsa contained within the soap. The result of the research has a good practice at concentration of 1% and 3% meet the requirements of physical quality test especially in organoleptis test, pH test and foam heigh test. Organoleptic test at concentration 1% showed white soap, with the same shape and smell.The result of an organoleptic test in 3% concentration demonstrated that the soap has milk chocolate color, then shape and aroma the same as the result of the pH test that filled a range of pH solid soap for human skin, which was 9-11. The high test foam represented that the soap produced foam according to the criteria, which was 9,5 cm.</note>
