Pain is a sensation that indicates that the body is experiencing tissue damage, inflammation or a more serious disorder such as nervous system dysfunction. Inoptimal pain management will increase patient morbidity. The high rate of morbidity will increase the healing time. The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of the use of analgesic medication among the people of Kutu Segodobancang , Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency in 2020 and the research method using descriptive research design and sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique where the sampling of members of the population is randomly based on consideration . Where to take the whole population and found 125 respondents who met the inclusion criteria.The instrument used for data collection wasaquestionnaire.Whilethedataanalysiswascarriedoutusingunivariateanalysis. The results of this study are the group of elderly patients, men, secondary education and worklevelshaveanaveragefrequencyofuseofanalgesicdrugshigherthanother groups. The conclusion obtained from this study is the profile of the use of analgesic drugs by the community in the village of Kutu Segodobancang-Tarik which is often used is the NSAID type of piroxicam 38% with rheumatic indications41%
