Pharmacy installation is one of the functional implementingunits that organizes all pharmacy service activities in hospitals that provide products and services in the form of prescription services. Prescription services as the forefront of pharmaceutical services to patients must be managed properly, because thequality of pharmaceutical prescription services in general is associated with providing fast services.Antibiotics are the most widely used drug in the world, related to many cases of bacterial infections. More than a quarter of the hospital budget is spent on the use of antibiotics (WHO, 2006). In developed countries 1337% of all patients treated in hospitals get antibiotics either singly or in combination, while in developing countries 30-80% of patients treated in hospitals receive antibiotics (Gandhi, 2007).The purpose of this study was to describe the use of antibiotics of cephalosporins in pediatric inpatients at Aisiyah Hospital Siti Fatimah Tulangan for the period October-December 2019 from inpatient data taken 204 patients by 2 pediatricians. Then the data is classified from the use of cephalosporin antibiotics as many as 37patients.
