Metoklopramide HCI is used to easing nausea and vomiting. We can find easily in tablet, syrup, and injection. Oral use is the most preferred by patients because easily to use it. The chewable tablet is the new product as alternative for children and people medication having hard to swallow medicine.This research intends for formulating the availability the chewable tablet of metoclopramide HCI using types of variation of the binder ( gelatin, PVP K-30 and amylum maydis) with wet granulation method we look forward it can make better physical quality test involve organoleptic, uniformity of weights, uniformity of size, hardness of tablets, fragility of tablets, disintegration time, determination of content. The result of physical test is analyzed statistically by One Way ANOVA to determine the effect of the type of binder variation on the characteristics of chewable tablets.The results of the research is made from three formulas using different binders but theconcentration is same (gelatine 2%, PVP K-302%, amylum maydis2%). Based on the experiment results we know that gelatin as a binder make tablet which has relatively large hardness, small fragility, and durable. Amilum maydis as binder which makes tablet that has small hardness, large fragility, and not durable. Pvp k-30 as a binder which makes tablet that has small hardness, relatively large fragility, and not durable.
